Sandra is an experienced municipal solicitor and frequent speaker on both municipal and First Nations law issues. She articled and practiced for 15 years with a major Vancouver law firm, providing advice to local governments on issues across the spectrum of municipal law. Sandra has advised on many new local government initiatives, including economic development incentives, tax revitalization programs, the creation and operation of municipal business corporations, post-treaty relationships and agreements with First Nations, and other innovative uses of local government authority. She has authored numerous articles and papers, and has frequently been invited to address UBCM, LGMA, LGLA, Capilano University, LMTAC, FVTAC, BOABC, and other organizations on relevant topics.

Pamela (Pam) is a municipal solicitor with an MA in Public Administration. With eight years experience at a major Vancouver law firm, Pam provides advice on a wide variety of local government and First Nations matters, including liability, access to information, constitutional jurisdiction, planning and zoning, land acquisition and development, expropriation, business agreements and post-treaty relationships with First Nations. Pam is the past Chair of the Canadian Bar Association's BC Municipal Section and is a member of the BC Expropriation Association. In recent years, Pam has been invited to address the LIBOABC, the LGMA, Capilano University, the Justice Institute of British Columbia, and the BCTFOA.

Gwendoline provides advice in employment law and general litigation. Her experience includes advising employers on all issues from pre-hiring to post-firing; conducting workplace investigations; and obtaining injunctions to protect confidential information and to restrain illegal picketing. Her litigation practice encompasses wrongful dismissal, contract and land disputes, and First Nations law. Gwendoline has represented clients at all levels of court in British Columbia and before a variety of tribunals. She is the founding co-author of a textbook on employment standards law, a frequent speaker on litigation and employment issues, and a former adjunct professor of civil litigation at the University of British Columbia. Gwendoline obtained her LL.B. (Honours) from the University of Glasgow in 1989 and her LL.B. from The University of British Columbia in 1994. She was called to the Bar of BC in 1995.

Sonia is a municipal solicitor with over ten years of professional engineering experience in civil and geotechnical matters. Sonia's technical knowledge of engineering issues and hands-on construction experience offer a unique and practical perspective to law. Sonia provides advice on a variety of local government matters, including construction contracts, tendering, infrastructure development, building construction and liability. For the past three years, Sonia has been an instructor for BCIT's law course for engineers.

Rina is a municipal solicitor with over 9 years’ experience in commercial, banking and finance law. Having obtained her Law and Master’s degrees in England, Rina has practiced at a leading law firm in Nairobi, Kenya and at a major Vancouver law firm. Rina provides advice on a variety of local government matters, including corporate and commercial matters, procurement, business and other contracts, liability and waste water management. Rina’s recent work has included structuring and drafting complex waste collection and recyclables processing contracts for a number of municipalities in the Lower Mainland. Rina likes to run, cook and is an amateur thespian, having performed in several musicals and pantomimes.

Holman provides advice in general litigation and employment law matters. He has experience prosecuting municipal bylaw offences in provincial court, and has represented local governments in the Supreme Court and the Court of Appeal on issues ranging from lease disputes to regulation of business activities. Holman previously practiced at a major Vancouver law firm, where he also gained experience in tort and intellectual property matters. Prior to being called to the bar, he worked as a teacher, graphic designer and a non-fiction writer.

Andrea provides advice in general litigation and employment law matters. Her experience includes appearing for clients in provincial and supreme court, advising with respect to insolvency and collection matters, and working with clients for proactive settlement solutions. She has practiced at a major Vancouver law firm and was a judicial law clerk at the British Columbia Supreme Court. Prior to being called to the Bar, Andrea worked in the Lower Mainland film industry, instigating and coordinating new practical training modules, and has managerial experience in collective bargaining, labour law and arbitrations.

Lynn is a graduate of the University of B.C. law school, and articled with a large business firm in Vancouver, where she gained experience in municipal law, aboriginal issues and civil litigation. She was the recipient of several awards in law school and clinic head for the Law Students’ Legal Advice Program. Prior to studying law, Lynn completed an Honours B.A. in English Literature and an Honours B.Sc. in Life Sciences.
